What is AIESEC?

AIESEC is a Non Governemental Oragnization well know by “The international platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potentiel. It’s  a global youth network impacting the world through leadership development experiences. AIESEC has been facilitating youth leadership activities as well as international internships and volunteer experiences for over 65 years, developing a global learning environment across 124 countries and territories.

Our vision is “Peace and Fulfillment of Humankind's Potential”. AIESEC believes that the best way to achieve this is by developing talent in individuals inside companies, organisations and communities. They are individuals who will positively impact society and create the change that will bring us closer to our vision for the world.

We have 6 core values: Activating Leadership, Demonstrating Integrity, Living Diversity, Enjoying Participation, Striving for Excellence and finally Acting Sustainably.

One of the activities we run in AIESEC ANFA is “Exchange”, this means providing young students with internship opportunities abroad over one of the 124 countries present in our network around the world.

We provide 2 types of internships :

- Global Community Development Program:

The GCDP is an opportunity for young people to develop entrepreneurial and responsible leadership qualities and skills. A young volunteer travels across the world to go through a cultural learning experience while working for projects and NGO’s that aim to create positive impact in society based on specific issues (ex. education, sustainability, community development etc.). The internship lasts 6 weeks minimum.

- Global Internship Program:

The GIP gives undergraduate students and recent graduates the opportunity to take on a cross-cultural professional development experience with some of the top companies from around the world. The Programme specifically targets skill development both to meet the education plan of the intern participating as well as to support filling a talent need for the company. The internship can last between 2 months to 1 year and a half.
